Security policy

Paying by credit card via the internet is no longer unsafe. The personal and card details are encrypted for the transaction - making it more secure than giving your card details over the phone.

MyOwnBooking.com uses Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL), which means that using your credit card to make a purchase online, should leave you with no safety fears. All sensitive information, including persona l details as well as credit card information, is kept confidential through the use of SSL. This means that information can only be exchanged between you and MyOwnBooking, and that no third party can access this data. The padlock symbol () on the bottom-right part of your browser window, shows which pages are protected by this security system.

All historical information regarding credit card, name, and address details is held temporarily on our secure database. We do not retain live records of customer personal details or credit card information on our servers after the transaction has been completed. This means that you will need to enter your card details each time you book over the Internet.
